les bouquets de Pandore
A series of cyanotypes which play on referencing the pictural tradition of floral compositions. They however do not depict flowers but motifs from comic books that are used to accentuate knocks, shocks, smashes, jerks and all forms of calamities. Acting as vases are boxes diagrams or assembly instructions from packaging design manuals.
Rather than the representations of fleeting fragility they first suggest, they are blueprints for hells to be unleashed.
