Ruins
Cornucopiae assembled from stands out of shuttering boards, and negative casts of various food containers in concrete, very pecariously balanced. These are presented on plinths with mock museum cubes made of wood and thin plastic sheeting, introducing opacity as to what the object therein might be. Screened by the frustrated transparency, the cornucopiae cease to be objects to become indistinct, blurred images to seen from four sides—like unsharp depictions of a possible resolution that beg for clarity., between the need to be guessed at and the deniability of understanding what it is.
